Synology drive sharesync setup12/9/2023 ![]() The Home NAS is a DS1821+ running DSM 7.2-64570 Update 2 and the remote NAS is a DS1815+ running DSM 7.1.1-42962 Update 6 (the most current available for that machine).Īny suggestions? I can't figure out why this would be the case, nor why the remote NAS doesn't automatically sync/download the most recent files, only the files that were on the system when I first set up ShareSync. the newest ones (from around the time I did the initial setup) were missing. When I went back in to re-select all the folders I want synced in the Folder-Based Selective Sync directory, all of the sub-folders weren't up-to-date. The first time you open Synology Drive ShareSync, the setup wizard will appear. In an effort to solve the issue, I unlinked the 2 NAS's and set up the ShareSync connection from scratch. The Sync is one-way from my home NAS to the remote NAS. Both Synology NAS devices need to have Rsync. The remote connection is working, but for the most part it's not automatically recognizing and syncing new files from my home NAS, although occasionally, indiscriminately, it does.
